So, we took ourselves up to the Alford Military Show last month. It was a great day, with a Saracen Tank doing its rounds much to the awe of the kids. We even stayed overnight for a military themed BBQ, a first for us, and although we didn’t have the right attire, we were welcomed by the Military Vehicle Club to listen to 40’s war music, drink Scottish beer, and talk military machines.
As part of the show, we’d set up a great little shooting range, and were frequently visited by two young guys, absolutely fanatical about anything military. They had the full kit on and loved hearing about the tanks. It just so happens, they were lucky enough to win our Tank Driving Ticket in the Alford Military Show raffle. So the family of Kyles came down to the site this month and had a great time shooting and going in the tank! You’re welcome back anytime!
